30 years ago today I was....
I could not get to sleep last night and I knew that I had to get up and get back to work today! 11 days off was great, but it can't go on indefinitely. I kept getting up to do one more thing. I got up to look for something and instead found a diary that I started keeping on January 1, 1976. That was 30 YEARS AGO! I started reading it. I had entries on and off through the end of 1983. It still has room for a couple of more years of journaling, so I might pick it back up again.
I still was able to get up at 5:00 and ride my bike ten more miles before I took my shower and headed off to work. Sure was tired at work though!

I might publish some of the entries from my old diary some time, but right now I stay busy journaling current thoughts and happenings.
